Colonials is currently available on VOD from Epic Pictures Group. A film like Joe Bland and Andrew Balek’s latest offering, Colonials, wouldn’t be the first kind of project to challenge its directors with something ambitious and demanding. It also wouldn’t be the first of its kind to flounder in almost every way possible, in terms of producing anything outside of forgivable janky family adventure sci-fi, which is, really all I can manage to muster as a compliment at this point. COLONIALS: Catch Up With A Clip From The New Action Sci-Fi Releasing Friday [EXCLUSIVE]

Film Combat Syndicate can share an exclusive clip from Colonials, the new sci-fi thriller starring Greg Kriek, Sean Kanan, Daniel Roebuck, Jon Provost, and Allie Ayers Lindsey. Andrew Balek and Joe Bland directed the pic from a script by Bland and co-scribe Cyrus Cheek. On his mission from Mars, a space colonist’s ship is attacked by a Moon-based civilization and crash lands on Earth. Having lost his memory, he joins forces with the Resistance to save the galaxy from human extinction. Epic Pictures Group is out with the trailer for Colonials, the new sci-fi epic from directing duo Andrew Balek and Joe Bland. An April 7 limited theatrical release will precede a digital release on April 11. On his mission from Mars, a space colonist’s ship is attacked by a Moon-based civilization and crash lands on Earth. Having lost his memory, he joins forces with the Resistance to save the galaxy from human extinction. Featuring 2000 VFX shots, Bland and Balek direct from a script by Bland and co-scribe Cyrus Cheek from Bland Productions.
