Jesse Atlas’ directorial debut now sees Saban Films on par with Assassin, toplined by Andy Allo, Nomzamo Mbatha, Mustafa Shakir, Dominic Purcell, and Bruce Willis in one of his latest career-exiting screen appearances. Atlas directs from a script he wrote with Aaron Wolfe with Saban releasing the pic in theaters, on demand and on digital beginning March 31. Bruce Willis (Glass) and Nomzamo Mbatha (Coming 2 America) star in this action-packed sci-fi thrill ride. A private military operation led by (Willis) invents futuristic microchip tech that enables the mind of an agent to inhabit the body of another person to carry out covert, deadly missions. But when an agent (Mustafa Shakir) is killed during a secret mission, his wife (Mbatha) takes his place in an attempt to bring the man responsible to Justice.
Production is underway for Absolute Dominion, the dystopian martial arts thriller that gained headlines earlier this month for the local film commission in the state of Nevada. The film hails from Netflix and Blumhouse Television with Punisher: War Zone helmer Lexi Alexander directing from her own script. Absolute Dominion is set in 2085 A.D. when the world has been destroyed by religious warfare. Desperate to save humanity, global governing forces host a gripping, no-holds-barred, martial arts tournament. Last fighter standing wins Absolute Dominion for one faith. Television is currently the best place to catch some of the best action ever shot on film if movies can’t come fast enough for you. For this, we look to NBC’s most recent announcement of a new pilot for the potential series, Warrior, which is already getting some significant attention as of late with a cast that so far included actress Natalie Martinez leading opposite actor Will Yun Lee.
