The newest trailer for director and co-writer Markus Blunder‘s 2011 thriller, Autumn Blood, is a thing of pure, deceitful beauty when you factor in all the main story elements. A story centered on a young girl and her much younger brother ravaged by early turmoil and forced to face even more terror with no choice but to take a stand once and for all? It’s a great setup for anyone looking forward to suspenseful, grim storytelling. Autumn Blood was shot entirely on 65mm film on-location in the Austrian Alps and followed with a few territorial DVD releases in 2011 before moving ahead screenings and award-winning appearances throughout the film festival circuit until last year.
