BAD BOYS FOR LIFE Is Back On Track With ‘Gangsta’ Duo In Talks To Direct

In a span of 23 years, Sony Pictures’s Bad Boys franchise has long been both a success and a “what if” for fans who’ve waited for a third installment since Michael Bay unloaded an explosive sequel to the 1995 original. For this, all eyes are now on Bad Boys For Life with word from Deadline that Belgian directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are negotiating with Sony to direct the film beginning in August. El Arbi and Fallah paved a career path for themselves in TV and film, scoring a hit in 2015 with their second feature, Black, and are now in tow with their latest, Gangsta. It Only Took A Few Decades But BEVERLY HILLS COP 4 Finally Gets New Directors And Possibly Better Prospects

Paramount is officially back on track this week with word that two new directors are signed to direct the long-awaited on-again-off-again Beverly Hills Cop 4. Belgian directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are attached to helm the film following the initial trilogy thusfar with actor and comedian Eddie Murphy expected to reprise the role of cunning, quick-witted fish-out-of-water Detroit detective, Axel Foley. The first two films measure excellently as buddy-cop action classics of yesteryear with the first two showcasing the misadventures of Foley and odd-couple Beverly Hills detectives Rosewood and Taggart, played by Judge Reinhold and John Ashton.
