Review: BITCOIN HEIST (2017) …Vietnamese Crypto Heist Film? Count Me In!

I don’t know much about Vietnamese cinema so upon receiving the blurry DVD combo for Bitcoin Heist was a treat on a hot summer day. It’s pretty much standard content in the options; you have your subtitle and audio choices, but it does come with a bit of trailers from Vietnam. Not sure if I’d be able to see some of these films, but at least if you guys like this movie, you can try to track down some of the films. Now, I don’t know most of the talent in this movie, but I have heard of the Youtuber, Than Pham, and Vietnamese Rapper, Suboi, as some of the leads of this film. BITCOIN HEIST: Meet Ham Tran’s Ragtag Anti-Heroes In The Official U.S. Trailer

Following its 2016 outing, Ham Tran’s Vietnamese action comedy, Bitcoin Heist debuted an official trailer this week ahead of its June 6 Digital HD release. DVD and Blu-Ray release details remain pending for the film which has Kate Nhung, Thanh Pham, Petey Majik Nguyen, Suboi, Jayvee Mai The Hiep, Lam Thanh My, Veronica Ngo and Teo Yoo. Hackers have become the bank robbers in the new world of crypto-currency. In order to catch the most wanted hacker, “The Ghost”, an Interpol special agent assembles a team of thieves to plan the ultimate heist. But as any good criminal knows, there is no honor among thieves. Check out the trailer below!
