Tom Paton’s BLACK OPS Climbs The Stairway To Terror In The Official U.S. Trailer
Black Site director Tom Paton has seen his share of festival runs in the past year following the Arrow Video FrightFest premiere of his new thriller, Stairs. Fast forward to 2020 with all respective deals signed thusfar, such is the case for Samuel Goldwyn Films who’ve stamped a VOD release sometime in June along with an official U.S. trailer for its U.S. release title, Black Ops. Updates to follow. Follow a black ops team who find themselves trapped in a terrifying, never-ending stairwell. Forced to climb or die, the group soon come face to face with their past sins in a desperate fight for survival. Paton directs from his own script. He rejoins with Black Site cohorts Bentley Kalu, Samantha Schnitzler and Toby Osmond, with Shayne Ward, Rachel Warren and Simon Meacock also starring.
Director James Poirier Brings Us To THE END OF DECEMBER
Independent film and TV pitch company Zoom Tilt has unveiled a new 27-minute crowdfunded military action spy thriller, The End Of December a collaborative project from Tenth Gate Productions and Milner Brothers Productions. The film tells the story of a rogue operate known only until the end as “The Widow”, whose only chance of getting her son back alive from the heavily armed squad who kidnapped him lies in the hands of a former black ops agent she burned years ago. The film pays homage to that of other films like the “Bourne” movies, “Taken” and “Safe House”, with quality action sequences and camerawork, and an original music soundtrack by Travis Fitzsimmons and Erik Dicksen to illustrate the kind of climatic intensity that would make Michael Mann, Paul Greengrass, Jaume Collet-Serra and the late Tony Scott proud.
