Warner Bros., 1821 Pictures Developing Original Action Thriller, BOMBSHELL
The hype-train for female centric action titles isn’t pulling over anytime soon. For this, we turn over to Warner Bros. in their continued partnership with 1821 Pictures for the development of new action thriller, Bombshell. Bombshell is a secret government program that recruits the world’s pioneering female celebrities to train as spies. The program is the only hope to stop a billionaire mogul who is extorting global leaders to turn all civilization into a police state that he alone controls. Bombshell was originally conceived by Terry Dougas who will produce along with Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis from a script by Dave Matillo.
