It’s taken a few years after development and production, and maybe a bit of film festival circulation to see how things would turn out. However, martial arts film fans were finally graced with the chance to catch what the fuss was all about with writer and filmmaker João Paulo Andrade‘s shortfilm debut, O Amuleto do Dragão (The Amulet Of The Dragon). Brazil-based O2 Filmes and martial arts film group, Action Kung Fu, with co-producer and fight choreographer Gutemberg Lins and producer Fernando Tiezzi are behind the project, which has since been billed as the first-ever “100% Brazilian Martial Arts Movie”.
