GODS OF EGYPT Gets A Trailer Full Of British Accents And Some White People. And Chadwick Boseman.
Director Alex Proyas‘s latest, Gods Of Egypt is poised for a February 26, 2016 release which is just three months away. Reasonably that means its time to get the promotional campaign going and so it’s off to the races as of last week when posters started going viral. Ok so all well and good. But let’s not forget this is still an eyebrow-raiser for history buffs and people critical of Hollywood’s interpretations of Egypt and all things anicent Africa, so the fact that we have a largely white cast with actress Elodie Yung and actor Chadwick Boseman as the few exceptions in the posters, and all seemingly in the company of British accents, are all still very much an laughable eyesore harkening back to the look of last year’s Exodus: Gods And Kings.
