Rob Cohen To Chase Hurricanes For The New Disaster Heist Actioner, CATEGORY 5
Director Rob Cohen was once the hopeful to direct a few films in the past three years, including a remake of Road House now set to shoot this April and Fast 8 which starts later this year. Both are now in the care of different directors, but this also leaves Cohen available for something else waiting in the wings for a Spring/Summer shoot. For this, we turn to Category 5 from representatives at Foresight Unlimited ahead of the European Film Market in Berlin next month. The film, to be helmed by Cohen, will center on a meteorologist and a female treasury agent as the only line of defense to act against a team of hackers out to rob a U.S. Mint facility in a small coastal town amid a Category 5 hurricane.
