A Live-Action COWBOY BEBOP Adaptation Is Coming To Television
Well it’s not the live-action feature film that’s been long rumored since the early two-thousandsies, but for what its worth a television push may be feasible for fans ardent of the highly popular manga and anime, Cowboy Bebop. Trade news sources have confirmed such a series now in the works to adapt the property for the small screen. Sunrise Inc., the studio behind Watanabe Shinichiro’s 1998 anime advancement of Kuga Cain’s Kadokawa Shoten manga is executive producing the series which tells of the adventures and misadventures of 21st century intergalactic bounty hunter Spike Spiegel and his ragtag team of bounty hunters. Also on board are Tomorrow Studios’s Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements and Matthew Weinberg, and Midnight Radio quartet Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg.
