It’s been nearly four years since the hugely under appreciated adaptation of the 2000 A.D. sci-fi property with Pete Travis’s Dredd 3D sunk at the box office. Independent filmmaker Oliver Hollingdale has been spending a lot of his time in the past several months pushing forward his own take on the Dredd franchise, in the upcoming indie sci-fi action film, Judge Dredd: Cursed Edge. Today, he has finally unveiled the first poster for the upcoming independent short film from Sunnymeade Films, which you can view by clicking HERE. Dredd (3D) starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirby and Lena Headey and directed by Pete Travis, fell short and far from its goals at the box office after its theatrical release in 2012, much to the dismay of many science fiction and action aficionados who expected the film to do better, considering its higher raise of approval among critics and fans, compared to its predecessor, Judge Dredd, with Sylvester Stallone, Rob Schneider and Armand Assante.
