PROJECT K: India-Based Vyjayanthi Celebrates 50 Years With Ambitious Sci-Fi Epic Teaser Art

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva actor Amitabh Bachchan will join Prabhas for an upcoming sci-fi epic. There’s very little info on it except for what’s being cataloged on Wikipedia and reported via numerous Indian publications, but the teaser poster is now viral signaling the production of Project K which has been filming segmentally for the last few years. The Telugu/Hindi flick comes from writer and director Nag Ashwin for his first venture into sci-fi and action territory which hails from Vyjayanathi Movies for its 50th anniversary, following several drama features. War director Siddharth Anand is sparing little ridiculousness in the fun he looks to exude with his new action adventure, Pathaan. Celebrating fifty years of success for Yash Rah Films, Shah Rukh Khan toplines the film next to Deepika Padukone and John Abraham for the film’s January 25 release in theaters and IMAX, bolstered to be YRF’s first Dolby Cinema release and the first Bollywood film to be shot with IMAX cameras. Per Regal Cinemas: Somewhere in the dystopian Middle East, grand houses that once housed the wealthy are now homes of the city’s most-dangerous criminals. An undercover cop, his ex-con, and others will take down the drug lord who killed his own father. The film will release in Hindi, as well as Telugu and Tamil dub. PRABHAS 21: What We Know So Far About The Sci-Fi Thriller Coming In 2022

There’s something big happening in the world of Bollywood for the Prabhas fandom as it awaits for whatever is to come for the project currently known as Prabhas 21, which takes off from the name of the starring actor himself. The past year has since seen a slow accumlation of major casting developments, firstly announcing actor Prabhas in February, before announcing actress Depeeka Padukoe in July. As of last week Friday, the project has welcomed screen legend, Amitabh Bachchan, with word from Deadline’s Tom Grater and Nancy Tartaglione, of a 2022 worldwide release. There are know plot details or any specifics about the project that are reportable, save for reports from the website suggesting it’s a “sci-fi drama set against the backdrop of World War III”. I’m never informed enough about Indian cinema to give an expert opinion. What I can tell you is that the ones I have seen have all been a fascinating and striking experience in some capacity, most recently S.S. Paramount Going into xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, I honestly thought this was going to be another douchebag action movie just like both its predecessors from Rob Cohen and Lee Tamahori. Sure, the fandom of having Tony Jaa and Donnie Yen notwithstanding, I’ve reached a pinnacle in my life where I’ve begun seeing past the veil of spectacle in most Hollywood action thrillers to be a little more speculative and critical than I’ve usually been. Director D.J. Caruso’s latest investment in Vin Diesel fandom, xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, doesn’t arrive until January from Paramount. Nonetheless, marketing is already underway and taking quite an odd shape as of late. The first official trailer premiered only two months ago and delivered a pretty nifty tease of some ridiculous, crazy action to accomodate the grade-A cast at hand which also includes Kris Wu and Nina Dobrev and professional fighter Michael Bisping, with martial arts stars Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa standing out the biggest and best. Plot Details Emerge Amid Paramount Deal To Release xXx: THE RETURN OF XANDER CAGE

It only took about eleven years but a third installment to the xXx franchise is now underway with plans to film scenes in Toronto, Canada and in the Dominican Republic. xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage is the official title amid news that following earlier speculation, Paramount Pictures is now boarding the film to distribute with Revolution Studios, Roth Kirschenbaum Films and Diesel’s One Race Films producing. D.J. Caruso is directing the script from scribe Chad St. John with revisions by F. Scott Frazier which THR says will reboot the franchise. If there was any doubt on your end that the likes of action stars Tony Jaa and Jet Li would appear together in a movie with franchise muscle, actor Vin Diesel, you wouldn’t have been completely wrong. Li first broke ground from Hong Kong cinema with Lethal Weapon 4 in 1998 five years before Jaa would reach his own milestones with Ong Bak in 2003 and his Hollywood debut opposite Diesel in Furious Seven last Spring, and so seventeen years is a considerable amount of time to wait for news like this.
