DEMON: ‘Idol’ Star Sol Kyung-Gu Tackles Spy Action Thriller From ‘The Prison’ Director
Director Na Hyun will follow up his 2017 feature directing debut, The Prison, now tackling spy action thriller, Demon (a.k.a Yacha), according to Pierce Conran at KOFIC. Filming is abound with a cast that currently enlists veteran film star Sol Kyung-gu (Memoir Of A Murder, 1987: When The Day Comes), and actor Park Hae-soo (The Pirates, By Quantum Physics: A Nightlife Venture) for what so far looks to be a 2020 release. Demon tells the story of Ji-hoon, a former Seoul prosecutor demoted to an office in Shenyang, China where he goes toe-to-toe with Kang-in, an elusive, ruthless NIS ghost operative who plays (and kills) by his own rules.
