CAPTAIN MILLER: Dhanush Slays British Tyrants In The Official Trailer

Arriving in time for its Pongal release next week will be Arun Matheswaran’s third and latest film, Captain Miller. Five years in the making with Matheswaran’s script eyed by Sathya Jyothi Films to produce, the Tamil-language action adventure stars actor Dhanush in the lead role. Under Britain’s colonial rule of India, a renegade captain leads a gang of outlaws through a series of increasingly risky heists in this Tamil-language action-thriller. Lyca Productions has global release rights minus the state of Karnataka, and is rolling out the film on January 12 in 2D and IMAX formats. Scroll through Amazon Prime and Netflix’s international offerings and you’ll see an overwhelming amount of films from the different regions of that country. Which has proven to be a successful strategy for the two companies. It has even led to them being the exclusive homes for several recent Indian blockbuster films.
