This IMAX/3D Featurette For POLICE STORY 2013 Will Blow Up In Your Face!

International action superstar Jackie Chan‘s latest venture into the genre he’s so well known for, Police Story 2013, is becoming one of the most hotly anticipated action films to date. Arriving to China on Christmas Eve, the new film from director Ding Sheng will.also be gloriously topped off with an IMAX and 3D domestic release. And here to share a few thoughts are Chan himself, with legendary stunt coordinator Bruce Law, with segments focused on the films fiery explosive scenes, bone-breaking fight choreography, and break-neck high speed chase sequences that surely aim to please while marking one of Chan‘s final entries into action movies before filming his personal passion project, Skiptrace. Police Story 2013 also stars Liu Ye, Huang Bo, Jing Tian, Zhang Lanxin, Wang Zhifei, Zhang Xiaoning and Guli Nazha for an IMAX, 2D and 3D release in Mainland China and Hong Kong on December 24, 2013. In a recent interview with Kung Fu Magazine, writer Gene Ching had the opportunity to speak to TV/film actor, martial artist and Jackie Chan’s own disciple, Jack Tu, about the latest with Jackie Chan’s upcoming film, Police Story 2013:   GC: “Why don’t you catch our readers up on the film and television projects you’ve been doing lately.” JT: “Ah, the film I just finished is Jackie Chan’s Police Story 2013. In that story, there’s not a lot of fighting action. There’s lots of shooting, police and military involved in this.” GC: “Now this is not a sequel to the original Police Story franchises. It’s a whole new thing, right?” JT: “It’s a lot different than the old one because this one takes place in Beijing in winter. All the cops and all the police are China policemen. It’s kind of unique.
