News From Planet Mars and Only The Animals helmer Dominik Moll’s latest crime thriller will get its day on May 19 at NYC’s Quad Cinema for The Night Of The 12th. Film Movement will also roll the film out in additional markets to follow. In nearly every police precinct, detectives are inevitably confronted with a case that goes unsolved. The more heinous the crime, the more it haunts those whose duty it is solve it. Such is the dilemma for Yohan Vivès—a young, recently promoted police Captain—when he begins investigating the gruesome murder of a young women named Clara in the town of Grenoble. THE NIGHT OF THE 12TH Hits NYC This Month From Film Movement

Film Movement is announcing its latest campaign for director Dominik Moll’s French true crime thriller, The Night Of The 12th. The film screened at Cannes last year before entertaining audiences in the summer in Brussels and the world over and having recently made two festival stops in the U.S. just earlier this month, and will next premiere at NYC’s Quad Cinema on May 19, with additional markets to follow. The Night Of The 12th stars Bastien Bouillon, Bouli Lanners, Théo Cholbi, Johann Dionnet, Thibaut Evrard, Julien Frison, Paul Jeanon, Mouna Soualem, Pauline Serieys, and Lula Cotton Frapier, and was directed from a script Moll co-penned with Gilles Marchand.
