Drifting Pictures Launches With Publicity For Upcoming Crime Thriller, VOR

A lot has happened since the peak of this past summer in July for the folks over at Hong Kong-based independent studio, Drifting Pictures. In a period of three months, what was once intended to be a shortfilm has grown into a fully purposed make a noteworthy feature-length production titled Vor, shortened from its previous name, Vor: Trust Me, I’m A Thief. Set in Moscow and Hong Kong, Vor is described an epic martial arts gangster tale that explores the honor codes and rules of the Russian and Chinese criminal underworlds. Produced by Youssef Soliman and actor Harry Oram who co-stars, the zero-budgeted film marks the directorial debut of writer and actor Philippe Joly starring alongside Kirt Kishita, Andrew Ng, Tom Caserto and action director Temur Mamisashvili, with Jai Day, Beck Artikov, Lorea Solabarrieta, Nathalie Ng, Alan Wai and Nathan Kan rounding out much of the main cast, and a […]
