THE PAGAN KING: 13th Century Action Drama Lands U.S. And Other Territories

News out of Cannes within the last 24 hours has Tom Grater reporting for Screen International with a raft of deals for Latvian historical action film The Pagan King. The territories include per the report as follows: North America (Vertical Entertainment), Australia and New Zealand (Eagle Entertainment), and Spain (Mediaset). UK outlet Canoe Film has been repping the film at Cannes on behalf of the producers at Platforma since its release in Latvia back in January and ultimately earning its self a place in local box office history. Canoe nabbed earlier territories for distribution in Germany (Ascot Elite), Japan (Zazie), and Czech and Slovak Republics, Hungary, and Romania (Mediasquad).
