A MAN OF REASON Sees Jung Woo-Sung Battling A Past That Wants Him Dead In The Official U.S. Trailer!

I can’t begin to tell you why it took as long as it did for South Korean star Jung Woo-sung’s feature debut to get the ball rolling stateside after almost two years. At long last though, Epic Releasing is finally out on Friday with the official U.S. trailer for upcoming action noir thriller, A Man Of Reason, which hits on demand and digital beginning July 9. After spending a decade in prison, a hitman learns that he has a daughter and just wants a chance at a normal life. But his former mob boss wants him back at any cost, sending merciless assassins after him. Also starring are Kim Nam-gil and Park Sung-woong from a script Jung penned with co-scribe Jung Hae-sin. A MAN OF REASON: Jung Woo-Sung’s South Korean Thriller Debut Acquire For N.A. Release In 2023 From Epic Releasing

Actor Jung Woo-sung’s feature directing debut, A Man Of Reason, has been acquired by Epic Pictures Group ahead of its world premiere as part of the Special Presentation section of the 47th Toronto International Film Festival this month. The film will have an early 2023 release in North America via the company’s Epic Releasing label. In A Man Of Reason, Jung plays Soo-hyeok, an ex-con looking to restore himself to a normal life after a decade in prison, especially after learning he’s the father of a young girl. His efforts to cut ties with his gangland past are unsuccessful, worsened by his former boss, who then begins questioning Soo-hyeok’s loyalty and using his newly discovered daughter as leverage.
