I think it’s safe to say that the Fast And Furious film franchise has been a career defining one for actor Vin Diesel, who also has a stake in producing the film series since 2009’s The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Now with nine films in as Universal Pictures contends with the residual effects of the Covid-19 pandemic (including stagnant theater reopenings throughout North America), the studio is remaining steadfast to its commitment to the road saga that began nineteen years ago. Adam B. Vary at Variety reports: The central “Fast and Furious” franchise will come to a conclusion after the 10th and 11th films, Variety has confirmed.
