Skydance, Alibaba Team Up For FLYING TIGERS
A World War II-inspired Flying Tigers movie has been in the works for sometime now but now it looks like it’s finally picking up some steam. Skydance Media and Alibaba Pictures appear to be moving forward as of this week and the pieces are now coming together with a director to be announced hereafter. Check out the announcement below. SANTA MONICA, Calif. & BEIJING–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Skydance, a diversified media company that creates elevated, event-level entertainment for global audiences, and Alibaba Pictures, Alibaba Group’s entertainment affiliate, today announced that they will join forces to finance and produce a Flying Tigers feature film for global release.
