Something tells me things are going to be epic for those attending this year’s New York Comic Con at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. No, I won’t be attending, but if all works out…well, let’s just say I’ll be eating some gluten-free pizza this weekend! But nevermind that. Check out the information below! The phenomenal success of actor, writer, director and Ansatsuken auteur Joey Ansah‘s newest labor of love, Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist has left fans wanting more from the series since its airing back in late May on Machinima. So while the reactions continue to be monumentally positive, Ansah took to Facebook to share a fifteen minute video detailing summer plans campaigning the series, including possible appearances in San Diego and New York, as well as specifics pertaining to season 2, tentatively known as Street Fighter: The World Warrior, and the overall roll out of the webseries through television, DVD and Blu-Ray, and a specal companion booklet to comprise all of the details you need to get a full-fledged Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist experience. Beerus Is Coming! Catch The New U.S. Theatrical Release Trailer For DRAGON BALL Z: BATTLE OF THE GODS!

Close to a year after Toei released Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of The Gods in Japan, the official word from Funimation is that the film is now getting a limited theatrical release here in the U.S. this August, as indicated by the poster above. This is pretty big for the anime fans out there, particularly for those jaded by the 2009 live-action contribution that didn’t pan really pan out very well with the hardcore fan base. For most of them, the epic saga featuring lead character Goku against his former Saiyan comrades should best stay animated. Personally, I disagree, as I have shared my own hopes for Casshern and Goemon helmer Kazuki Kiriya to bring the property to form, and it was the magic mad happen for Casshern that convinced me this was possible.
