The New Teaser For WE ARE SOLDIER Teases With A Beating!

Roughly six months since the start of production, former serviceman and debut filmmaker Lee Asquith-Coe is finally on track with his new action thriller, We Are Soldier. Co-director Eric Kolelas leads the cast of the film which has quite a bit going for itself judging by its previous concept teaser, but its actor, co-star and fight choreographer Grant Steven who takes center stage in the brand new teaser now airing online as of this weekend. SYNOPSIS: Tyrone is a soldier, not any ordinary soldier, he is a Drone DT101-97, a criminal, a prisoner within his own mind programmed, to fight and kill the enemy by The British Army. His conscience void of human emotion, with his memories wiped he is completely unaware and under control of a “Handler” until he is damaged in battle. Well, I’m certainly proud after last night. I don’t get to have too many adventures with stunt professionals, but when I do, they’re all inarguably some of the most fun experiences I continue to have. At long last! Crowdfunding efforts fell short earlier this year for former 13-year military serviceman-turned-independent debut filmmaker Lee Asquith-Coe whose newest endeavor, We Are Soldier, has since found better straits toward production as of next weekend! The film itself is based on a winning feature-length script Asquith-Coe wrote and entered in the Annual Creative World Awards in 2013 before earning a 6th place finish and ultimately seeking independent means for full movie after a series of false starts to acquire funding. If you’re an anime and manga junkie, you’ll probably recognize the root of inspiration for former-wrestler-turned actor/director Leroy Kincaide‘s new shortfilm concept, Freeman: New World Order. The title itself is a giveaway, and the trailer, which went viral earlier this summer, offered a few more hints that probably made it seem all the more obvious, and maybe a little bit pretentious if you’re a total purist. Nonetheless, it’s a only a conceptual piece which could lead to a better, bigger and more original project. Opinions may vary, of course, but it still serves the interest of entertaining fans who love hard-hitting action and gritty storytelling to boot. Besides, word is that the project was received pretty well when it made its way to observers at Cannes earlier this summer, bringing Kincaide just one step closer to delivering a full-fledged feature beginning next Spring.
