Go Behind The Scenes With The Cast And Crew Of THE MONKEY KING: THE LEGEND BEGINS

International action star Donnie Yen, unveiled the latest behind the scenes featurette for the upcoming domestic January 31, 2014 release of director Terence Cheung‘s The Monkey King: The Legend Begins, which you can now view below along with the first right above from a little over a week ago. The film is the latest cinemtic 3D rendition of the classic mythological character written by Edmond Wong and the late Szeto Kam-Yuen, and featuring Yen in the lead of what is expected to be the first of a trilogy. The Monkey King: The Legend Begins also stars Chow Yun-Fat, Xia Zi Tong, Aaron Kwok, Joe Chan, Zilin Zhang, Peter Ho, Gigi Leung and Kelly Chen. The first trailer for writer and director Wong Jing‘s slick card tossing action comedy, The Man From Macau aired a few weeks ago, featuring actor Chow Yun-Fat reprising his classic role from the original God Of Gamblers film franchise. Following a star-studded press conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Macau earlier this week, a new trailer was unveiled for the upcoming epic action thriller, Helios. The film represents the latest action-oriented efforts from filmmakers Sunny Luk and Longman Leung, the writing/directing duo behind the 2012 award-winning blockbuster, Cold War, which has since garnered a sequel. Primed for a yet-undated release for next year, the film centers around counterterriorism efforts to track down a stolen nuclearm Uranium bomb from North Korea that makes its way South to be sold in Hong Kong. A lot has happened since the peak of this past summer in July for the folks over at Hong Kong-based independent studio, Drifting Pictures. In a period of three months, what was once intended to be a shortfilm has grown into a fully purposed make a noteworthy feature-length production titled Vor, shortened from its previous name, Vor: Trust Me, I’m A Thief. Set in Moscow and Hong Kong, Vor is described an epic martial arts gangster tale that explores the honor codes and rules of the Russian and Chinese criminal underworlds. Chow Yun Fat Set To Appear In COLD WAR Sequel

Chinese Films and Yahoo! Singapore are reporting that actor Chow Yun Fat is set star in the sequel to the 2012 Hong Kong action cinema smash hit, Cold War. The first film was written and directed by Lok Man Leung and Sunny Luk and made its premiere at the 17th annual Busan Film Festival in October of 2012, became a major success after grossing $100 million in just five days after its theatrical release. Cold War starred Aaron Kwok, Gordon Lam, Terence Yin, Charlie Young, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Andy Lau, Andy On, Grace Huang, Michael Wong and Chin Kar-Lok who also served as action director with Wong Wai-Fai.
