According to several reports forwarded from Nippon Cinema everyone’s action filmmaking fan favorite, Ryuhei Kitamura is going to start on Versus 2, the third installment to the Down To Hell franchise that led to the blockbuster success low-budget Japanese cult fan favorite, Versus, which starred Tak Sakaguchi, Hideo Sakaki, Chieko Misaka, Kenji Matsuda, Yuichiro Arai, Minoru Matsumoto, Kazuhito Ohba, Takehiro Katayama, Ayumi Yoshihara,Shōichirō Masumoto, Toshiro Kamiaka, Yukihito Tanikado, Hoshimi Asai, Ryosuke Watabe and Motonari Komiya. The latest in action horror comes from Universal Pictures with the new film, The Purge. The film has moved up from its original June 7, 2013 release date to May 31, 2013. The film stars Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, Max Burkholder, Edwin Hodge and Rhys Wakefield and is written and directed by James DeMonaco. SYNOPSIS In the near future, the United States has become a utopia; unemployment rates are at 1% and crime is at an all-time low. Vampires Get International Distribution For RIGOR MORTIS

Asian Movie Pulse is reporting via Screen Daily and Twitch that Fortissimo Films has picked up international distribution rights for the upcoming vampire action horror film, Rigor Mortis. The film is being heralded as the theatrical return of the classic Chinese vampire genre, starring Chin Siu-ho in a reportedly darker-toned performance than seen of his character in the previous Mr. Vampire film series.
