ICEMAN 3D Gets An Action-Packed Promo And New Music Video

We are a little less than a year since having seen the first few teasers go online for director Law Wing-Cheong‘s new film, Iceman 3D as the film’s hectic schedule was ultimately split into a two-movie megaproject. And with the film finally heading to Singapore and China theaters next month, onlooking fans were presented with some brand new poster art with leading man of action Donnie Yen front and center with Wang Baoqiang trailing. Now, not only do we have a new trailer circulating the internet this month, but fans are also getting a new music video to promote the film in the form of “Icebound”, courtesy of the vocal stylings of Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao. New Trailer For ICEMAN COMETH 3D!

Director Law Wing Cheong’s latest epic martial arts swordplay thriller, ICEMAN COMETH, now has a trailer of its own to show for its efforts as, of what is now, the first of a two-part saga that sees action star Donnie Yen opposite Wang Baoqiang as imperial guards battling each other through time. The film also stars Eva Huang, Yu Kang and Simon Yam, with action choreography by Yen. The film was recently acquired by Shaw for international distribution rights at the Cannes film festival for its 3D screening. SYNOPSIS: In 2013, funded by a mysterious rich, squire Tang digs up three ancient icemen from the outskirt of China. They are Ying (Donnie Yen), Niehu (Yu Kang) & Sao (Wang Baoqiang). New Poster For ICEMAN COMETH 3D

Martial arts action super star Donnie Yen has taken to the web to unveil his new poster for the upcoming duo film franchise, The Iceman Cometh 3D, which is making its premiere in Cannes this month. The film is an epic revival of the Hong Kong action classic that starred Yuen Biao, Yuen Wah and Maggie Cheung, and directed by Clarence Fok. Remade in 3D as a two-part project, it is directed by Law Wing Cheong, and will star Yen opposite Wang Baoqiang, along with Simon Yam and Eva Huang. The film is one of many in Yen’s busy schedule as he also expected to push and develop having just entered into heading his own production company, Superhero Films. Donnie Yen Splits ICEMAN COMETH 3D In Two, And Counting…

Several reports came in on the week of May 10, 2013, stating that the production of Iceman Cometh 3D would be turned into an epic story completed in two productions in order to cover the cost of what was initially one film, directed by Law Wing Cheong and scheduled for a 3D screening at Cannes soon. The news came as a result of the production having been overbudgeted from $100 million HKD to $250 million HKD, in addition to the extra efforts with lead actor and action director Donnie Yen and the crew having to build a bridge set after failing to obtain permission from the Hong Kong to shoot an epic scene on the Tsing Ma Bridge involving a Ferrari, and Donnie on horseback.
