SPINDRIFT’S HAUNTED WEST Teases Psychedelic Gunslinger Western Music And Mania In The Official Trailer
I normally don’t do westerns, but this upcoming release from Indican Pictures has caught my attention because it’s more than just a western. Throw in a road trip, haunted locations, and a band, and how can I not be intrigued? Spindrift’s Haunted West is a psychedelic country western band and while they travelled around the American West for five weeks, they only performed in ghost towns and haunted locations including California, the Valley of Fire, and Wyoming. Writer/director Robert Cole’s own feature debut will finally get its day on March 15 with horror thriller, Off Season. The indie thriller released its official trailer in recent memory which you can view above. After working for the summer on Martha’s Vineyard, Lena’s plans to return home fall through. A local farmer, Kellen, hires her and she forges relationships with her co-workers, his wife Becca, and his precocious ten-year-old daughter Sadie. At first, Lena’s experiences on the farm are welcoming and she strikes a close relationship with Sadie. However, over time Lena senses that Sadie is troubled. When a co-worker goes missing, Lena presses Sadie for answers only to discover that a killer is amongst them..
