THE HIT LIST: December 5, 2016

Alrighty! In anticipation of an exceptionally busy Christmas, this will be the first of three final installments of The Hit List in 2016. Personally, I look forward to the forthcoming break and on that note I might round up some of my favorite entries of stunt reels and shortfilms in a New Year edition to whet the appetite some. We’ll just have to wait and see! In the meantime, let’s get this party rolling with some wicked videos from around the web, and first up are a pair of terrific new Tekken-inspired kicking reels by Eric Jacobus and Jailbreak star, actor and martial artist Jean-Paul Ly. THE HIT LIST – July 13, 2015

It’s never a dull week when finding content online to share. Indeed, a new batch of stunt reels with an extra dash of tricking are now online, followed by new trailers as well as a couple of stellar action gems which keep things nothing short of exemplary…thus why the Hit List exists. Let’s get to it! First up are two playlists with the first showcasing this week’s stunt packed demo reels from Lukaz Leong, Greg Rementer, Adam Chase, Benjamin Hoffman, Dan Dargan Carter, Dom Kegel and stuntwoman Elisabeth P. Carpenter. The expansion of online action has grown tremendously in well-over the past decade, with filmmakers around the country and the globe suddenly taking part in contributing their own efforts to share their skillset for film, fight choreography and storytellng. And as I have previously mentioned in recent months, Singapore is very much a part of that movement, particularly where you will find folks like Jaze Phua working on building his own platform over at the Jaze Phuaductions working on some pretty amazing projects, including two episodes released this year for his inspired webseries, The Rule Breakers. The project comes within two years prior to Phua, earning his degree for Media Design at NTU School Of Art and Design in Singapore.
