I think the Marvel line of films are still in a bit of a weird place unlike the years that led up to Avengers: Endgame. Granted most of these movies will sell themselves, even as Sony’s stake in the brand continues to fluctuate. Nowadays their post-Madam Web prospects are turning out a little better with J.C. Chandor’s Kraven The Hunter which has a brand new and spectacular trailer as of the wee hours of Wednesday. Provided that you’re not like me and you’ve been able to keep up with all things Marvel, you’re now at the latest milemarker with Sony signaling the fandom with director J.C. Chandor’s Kraven The Hunter starring Aaron Taylor Johnson and Russell Crowe. Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in the R-rated film. The film also stars Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola and Christopher Abbott. Sony is opening the film in March and now has a red-band trailer to help whet the appetite.

A harrowing mission awaits five men looking for a grand steal in the official trailer now online for director J.C. Chandor’s new crime thriller, Triple Frontier. For this, you could even say the road to the film’s completion was equally enduring at best – once housed at Paramount back in 2010 and serving as the starting point for a marathon development period that lasted eight years. With Kathryn Bigelow opting for the helm, years of limbo ensued with a revolving casting door that saw the likes of Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Channing Tatum, Tom Hardy, and Oscar-winning actors Casey Affleck and Mahershala Ali.
