Parallel to Well Go USA’s domain in North America, moviegoers in the U.K. can also rest safely in the comfort of a IMAX and theatrical releases for debut this year’s hit animated blockbuster, Ne Zha. Directed by Jiao Zi, CMC Pictures is proudly rolling the film out in association with Trinity Cine Asia for an IMAX 3D release on August 30, followed by a wide UK/Ireland release beginning September 6. Not too far from its theatrical release, Well Go USA is hitting the ground running this week with an official U.S. trailer for explosive animated feature adventure, Ne Zha, from Beijing Enlight Pictures and debut writer/director Jiao Zi. Ne Zha centers on a young boy born from a heavenly pearl with unique powers who will be faced with a choice between fulfilling a prophecy of destruction, and breaking the shackles of fate to defeat evil in the name of good. Since July, Ne Zha has grossed upwards of $535 million dollars with over 100 million admissions, contending with Frant Gwo’s The Wandering Earth. The film is now China’s highest-grossing animated feature in the middle kingdom’s exhibitor history among its multiple milestones.
