I had it in mind this weekend to try and review a couple of films. That effort compounded into one and mainly for all of the stunt reel and shortfilm content I absorbed. A lot of the entries I found and received were overwhelmingly good, although there was just some fat I had to cut. But… I think this is a delightful gathering! My weekend was slow, but unnecessarily relaxing. Part of it included getting the prizes ready from our recent Blu-Ray giveaways for Iron Protector and The Prison and the latter contest ends in a matter of hours… I’m JUST saying… By the by, the Hit List is back and fashioning another round of great stunt reels and some of today’s best in independent online action. Caitlin Hutson jumpstarts the week with her latest parkour reel followed by actor Tien Hoang brandishing some sharp weaponry in his new training demo. Rounding out this segment are reels courtesy of Aaron Hawley, Kaiser Tin-U, Lloyd Pitts, Justin Yu, Chase Penny and Spidey Turner, and choreography reels by Indonesia-based Ultimate Stunt Fighter, and Atlanta’s own J.A. The past several days may have seen a slump of news. I admit, I kind of enjoyed it as I needed a bit of a breather. Best of all is I finally had a little time over the weekend to start watching Sense8 to see what the fuss is about and… …I’ll be sure to give my feedback in a future post if I catch the writing bug by then.
