Josh Duhamel (Shotgun Wedding) and Lukas Gage (Road House) have signed on to star in Full Throttle Mindset, a darkly comedic crime thriller from director Patrick Brice (Creep) and XYZ Films. Based on an article in the St. Louis Riverfront Times by journalist Doyle Murphy, the film tells the wild true story of young burnout Blake Laubinger (Gage), who’s taken under the wing of a Midwestern tanning salon mogul named Todd Beckman (Duhamel). He soon learns his new mentor’s businesses are a front for a drug empire — one he’s now expected to partake in. Written by Jake Disch, whose scripts “The Adults in the Room” and “Gunfight” made the Black List, the film is billed as a gonzo cautionary tale about deluded American dreams and dark mentors. A fresh new look at director Allan Ungar’s new action comedy is now online for London Calling, reuniting him with Bandit star Josh Duhamel (Shotgun Wedding) from a script by Oscar-nominated scribe Omer Levin Menekse and Quinn Wolfe. Rounding out the cast are Jeremy Ray Taylor (It, It: Chapter Two), Rick Hoffman (“Billions,” “Suits”) and Aidan Gillen (“Game of Thrones”). Production is underway in South Africa with Josh Duhamel (Shotgun Wedding), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Warner Bros.’ It franchise), and Rick Hoffman (USA Network’s “Suits”) set to star in action comedy, London Calling. The film additionally reunites Duhamel with Bandit helmer Allan Ungar who is reuniting with Duhamel, with a script by Oscar-nominated Omer Levin Menekse and Quinn Wolfe. Boss Level and The Grey helmer Joe Carnahan is on set in Malta for Not Without Hope, the new survival drama starring Shazam: Fury Of The Gods actor Zachary Levi. In Shotgun Wedding, Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding just as the couple begin to get cold feet.
