Say what you will about film sibs Lana and Andy Wachowski, but they know how to visually wow the hell out of their audience, and the latest trailer for the long-awaited action adventure space opera, Jupiter Ascending is proof of that. The film, starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis almost had a release this summer before Warner Bros. pulled it back in June for the Wachowskis’ to do whatever it was they need to do to likely make the film more entertaining. As much as some film fans may complain that there are too many remakes on the big screen, the forthcoming release of the new film from Lana and Andy Wachowski, Jupiter Ascending, should be a refreshment. It’s original sci-fi, and despite some polarizing opinions about the aforementioned sibling film duo’s previous work, Cloud Atlas with co-helmer Tom Tykwer, it’s inarguable that Jupiter Ascending represents another clear example of pure creativity by artists who know how to dazzle the screen. Mila Kunis leads the cast with actor Channing Tatum, and actors Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne and Douglas Booth also starring. We have a new international trailer this week for the upcoming release of Jupiter Ascending, the latest sci-fi fantasy action opera from brother/sister directing duo Andy and Lana Wachowski. The footage is basically everything that has already been seen in the initial teaser that was unveiled in the teaser late last year in December, just with Japanese subtitles. So we have a bit of time for more promo material before the film’s July 18 release date. Premier action choreography and screenfighting troupe LBP Stunts Chicago makes a triumphant brief return to the foray with three of its own in a brand new fight Kung Fu practice clip directed by LBP mainstay Emmanuel Manzanares, with performances by LBP members, actors and stunt professionals Brendon Huor and Mickey Facchinello. Both performers have extensive experience in acting and stuntwork, in addition to the two last recently appearing opposite each other in action filmmaker Vlad Rimburg’s Donnie Yen-inspired miniseries with Special ID Episode 1: The Mute. The news came admist an interview with the actress on the set of her next action film with Keanu Reeves, John Wick, where she reflects on being one of the most sought-after actresses for action movies, as well as her time filming and potentially starring in NBC’s television rendition of the iconic DC Comics heroine, Wonder Woman, prior to the show’s last-minute cancellation; That role has since gone to actress Gal Gadot for the big screen release of Zack Snyder’s untitled Batman vs. Superman movie. JUPITER ASCENDING Gets A New North American Release Date

ComingSoon.net has forwarded an announcement from Warner Bros. Pictures of the new July 18, 2014 release date for the upcoming film, Jupiter Ascending, a week ahead of its previous date of July 25. Reportedly the move came after Matt Reeves’s Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes pushed its release date further ahead to July 11th, which ultimately led to WB’s new date shift, leaving the July 25th date in the clear for Brett Ratner’s Hercules: The Thracian Wars with actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Just after new footage was recently teased on Entertainment Tonight, the first full teaser for Jupiter Ascending arrived online. Best known for their visionary work on The Matrix Trilogy, Speed Racer and most notable cult fan favorite, Cloud Atlas, this latest venture into vast, intergalactic storytelling from brother and sister filmmaking duo Andy and Lana Wachowski, sees actress Mila Kunis and actor Channing Tatum in a story that Lana, in not letting the cat out of the bag too much, promises will have “a lot of things from a lot of genres that we love.” Jupiter Ascending also stars Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith.
