Big Bad Wolves duo Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado may have hit a sour note at the chance of directing a Death Wish film in recent memory, but they’re still keeping busy with other interests. Their latest? Gunpowder Milkshake, nabbed by Studiocanal and The Picture Company last Spring and, according to Deadline at the time, aimed as “a high-concept action-thriller with a rich mythology, a female protagonist, and franchise potential.” On Tuesday, word broke exclusively from The Hollywood Reporter that the production has found its lead in Jumanji and MCU franchise co-star, actress Karen Gillian.
