Actor Avan Jogia is ready for his close-up in the director’s chair following the April 12 production launch of his feature debut, Door Mouse. Highland Film Group is announcing the film’s completion and acquisition for world sales ahead of the Marche du Film. Door Mouse stars Hayley Law (Echo Boomers, Netflix’s Altered Carbon) and Keith Powers (Straight Outta Compton, What/If). Billed as a stylish neo-noir thriller, the film centers on Mouse (Law), an aspiring comic book artist stuck in a dead-end job working all-nighters at Mama’s Burlesque Club, doing nothing with her life and going nowhere.
