Lionsgate Picks Up Three Tarantino Classics; KILL BILL 1 & 2 Getting 4K Remaster Treatment

I’ll leave it to those who can afford the time and energy to spare to ruminate over any Kill Bill-related threequel prospects there may be after this. In the meantime, it’s another year in the day in the life of Quentin Tarantino who is in business with Lionsgate as of Thursday to re-release three of his iconic films. The first two reported will be both volumes of Kill Bill, starring Uma Thurman in a revenge-fueled epic packed with Asian and Western aesthetics, and topped with unrelenting, cutthroat martial arts action. Thurman plays the Bride, a former assassin whose secret attempt at a new life leaves her and her wedding party for dead by her husband, Bill, played by the late David Carradine.
