‘KINNIKUMAN: PERFECT ORIGIN ARC’ Launches First Teaser Succeeding All Expectations

Some months ago was revealed that the anime of legendary shonen manga Kinnikuman was set to return for a new season to commemorate its 40th anniversary, creating hopes and expectations for a triumphant return of the iconic character created by Yutedamago. It was this past October 1st, when the prayers and the questions were answered, with the realease of a first spectacular teaser trailer, that succeed all the expectations after discovering that this new season is going to be a continuation of the original series, adapting the longest arc of the original manga, (almost 300 chapters) which guarantee that we’re going to have new “Kinniku-adventures” for a very long time. The Legend of the Ring Kinnikuman Makes a Triumphant Return to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in a new Animated Series

A visual teaser with Kinnikuman raising his fist in the air, was the powerful image that announces that the iconic character created by duo Yudetamago, consisting of writer Takashi Shimada and artist Yoshinori Nakai, is set to make a triumphant return in a new animated series that will commemorate its 40th anniversary. Known in the west as Ultimate Muscle, the original manga series was originally ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from May 1979 to March 1987, however, such a legendary series couldn´t stay in the shadows for long, and in November 2011 was relived to enter into a new era, where it was published in Shueisha’s web magazine Shuu Play News, where it continues to be serialized up to this day.
