JUPITER ASCENDING Gets A New North American Release Date

ComingSoon.net has forwarded an announcement from Warner Bros. Pictures of the new July 18, 2014 release date for the upcoming film, Jupiter Ascending, a week ahead of its previous date of July 25. Reportedly the move came after Matt Reeves’s Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes pushed its release date further ahead to July 11th, which ultimately led to WB’s new date shift, leaving the July 25th date in the clear for Brett Ratner’s Hercules: The Thracian Wars with actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Directed by brother and sister filmmaking duo Andy and Lana Wachowski for a 2D/3D and IMAX release, Jupiter Ascending stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith. Watch The New Teaser For JUPITER ASCENDING

Just after new footage was recently teased on Entertainment Tonight, the first full teaser for Jupiter Ascending arrived online. Best known for their visionary work on The Matrix Trilogy, Speed Racer and most notable cult fan favorite, Cloud Atlas, this latest venture into vast, intergalactic storytelling from brother and sister filmmaking duo Andy and Lana Wachowski, sees actress Mila Kunis and actor Channing Tatum in a story that Lana, in not letting the cat out of the bag too much, promises will have “a lot of things from a lot of genres that we love.” Jupiter Ascending also stars Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith.
