That film is currently streaming on Netflix, as will his latest heist romp, Breaking And Re-entering, which enjoys its North American Premiere at the 23rd New York Asian Film Festival before then. Taiwanese filmmaker Leo Wang’s directorial debut is getting some theatrical time this August with fantasy thriller, The 9th Precinct. The film centers on a rookie cop from a secret police department who uncovers the truth behind a mysterious pink purse and its attached vengeful spirit. The project was snagged during HKFilMart for world sales rights by MandarinVision, and stars Dear Ex actor Roy Chiu, veteran actor Peng Chia Chia and The Last Verse co-star Jenny Wen.
