Bring Him To Me opens in select theaters and on-demand on February 23 from Roadside Attractions. Horror thriller “Scurry” was the most recent project attaching actor Barry Pepper to Aussie director Luke Sparke a few years back. Invariably the pair ended up awaiting their forthcoming collaboration which now brings us to the Occupation sci-fi franchise helmer’s most recent effort, Bring Him To Me, starring Pepper alongside Jamie Costa. Boasting a taut thriller with complex characters and slick cinematography, Sparke’s Bring Him To Me lends a screenplay by Tom Evans, host to a tale of greed, guilt and retribution. The lead characters – played by Pepper and Costa – don’t have names, a fact later acknowledged in a jocular moment between Passenger (Costa) and the more terse and focused Driver (Pepper). Their chemistry takes a bit of time to muster, particularly well into the first half of the film with Driver […]

Production is already underway for Fight For Your Life, the new action thriller starring Jeremy Piven (“Entourage”, The System). The film also features viral video star Jamie Costa. S&R Films has North American and world sales rights on the pic at Cannes. Luke Sparke (Occupation 1 & 2, upcoming Bring Him To Me) is directing from a script he storied, and is co-writing with Tom Evans, as well as producing out of Sparke Films. Piven will play a soldier who wakes up in a mysterious cell and is forced to face an onslaught of deadly opponents in an ever-changing fight arena – his only goal being to survive long enough to return to his daughter. “Fight For Your Life places Jeremy in a morality battle with himself and a slew of opponents in a vast array of settings. Alien invasion films are nothing new, so it can be hard to find a new twist. In Luke Sparke’s 2020 release Occupation: Rainfall, viewers are offered a familiar problem with some nuance: what if the aliens aren’t the only bad guys? As a sequel to his 2018 film Occupation, Sparke continues the saga of a motley band of Australians who make up the grass-roots resistance against the invaders, the Greys. (Remember, there’s more than one accepted spelling of gray/grey, Americans! And this is an Australian film. Don’t at me.) The Australian government and military are vastly outgunned, seemingly as the rest of the world — it’s made abundantly clear that neither the American or British will be of any help, as they are having their own struggles. But far from dependent on any other states, the government makes its own plan to combat the aliens. This is one of the […]

In the sky, a fleet of spaceships appears. The aliens have been watching Earth for centuries; now they have arrived to seize control of our planet.
