WARHUNT Unleashes Supernatural WWII Terror In The Official Trailer

The Recall helmer Mauro Borelli’s latest action horror, Warhunt, already has a trailer circulating courtesy of Saban Films. The film, which stars Jackson Rathbone, Robert Knepper and Mickey Rourke, will open in theaters and on VOD and Digital beginning January 21. 1945. A US military cargo plane loses control and violently crashes behind enemy lines in the middle of the German black forest. Immediately ruthless Major Johnson (Mickey Rourke) sends a squad of his bravest soldiers on a rescue mission to retrieve the top secret material the plane was carrying. Highland Film Group has revealed a first look photo from The Recall helmer Mauro Borrelli’s supernatural war thriller, Warhunt. Borrelli reteamed with The Recall co-scribe Reggie Keyohara III to pen the script for an all-star cast that lists Mickey Rourke (Sin City, Immortals, The Expendables, Iron Man 2) Robert Knepper (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and 2, Fox’s “Prison Break”), and Jackson Rathbone (The Twilight Saga, Paramount Pictures The Last Airbender, and MTV’s “Finding Carter”). With the evolution of the theatergoing experience taking a foothold with Barco Escape’s triple-screen panoramic and immersive audio format, Mauro Borelli’s new sci-fi thriller, The Recall, is readying June 2 opener proceded by a wide 2D release on June 16. The official trailer has arrived online, and with none other than Wesley Snipes commanding the screen amid the story of five teens caught amid an impending alien invasion and mass-abduction. When five friends vacation at a remote lake house, they expect nothing less than a good time, unaware that planet Earth is under an alien invasion and mass-abduction. The Hunt Begins For Wesley Snipes & Co. In THE RECALL, Now Filming

Nope, I’m not waiting for any updates on action star Wesley Snipes starring in another Blade movie. That’ll happen when it happens, and IF it happens, but I’m moving forward nonetheless with prospects now looming over at Minds Eye Entertainment where production is now underway for the new sci-fi action thriller, The Recall. To what capacity Snipes’s character aside from the rest of the cast will be though is unclear except his role will be that of “The Hunter” which is already my selling point as a fan. The announcement, however, does hint at bolstering The Ghostmaker helmer Mauro Borelli’s visual artistry chops, which does read promising considering what his IMDb page reads like.
