The first official teaser trailer is now out for Mikahil Red’s new action thriller, Arisaka. Variety’s Naman Ramachandran brought the exclusive Sunday evening with a first look at the new pic from the Block Z and Neomanila director, with word of its completion following what Red notes as a challenging shoot, due to Typhoon Vamco last month, on top of restrictions thanks to the onset of the current global pandemic which forced a temporary delay during production. In “Arisaka,” a policewoman must retrace the trail of the Bataan Death March, a forcible transfer of some 60,000 American and Filipino prisoners of war by the Imperial Japanese army during WWII, in order to escape her captors.
