MIRROR'S EDGE Is Getting A Live-Action Television Series!

It’s been eight years since the hit game, Mirror’s Edge, took off for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from Electronic Arts. The game has undergone its share of mobile and desktop iterations, and even introduced a prequel that centered on the origins of main character, Faith, before announcing a universal reboot last year. The property has also been the subject of a few fan film shorts now online while the reboot, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, releases in just a couple of weeks. Clearly this one begs for the attention of some form of film or TV treatment with all of the cinematic hype it gets, and thankfully we’re not too far off according to a new report at Deadline telling of the involvement of Endemol Shine North America’s scripted division, Endemol Shine Studios. Peipei Alena Yuan Fights The System In The Upcoming Fan Film Short, EDGE OF FAITH

Poster Credit: Jonathan Tran Lifelong athlete, aspiring actor, stunt coordinator and independent filmmaker Andrew J. Neis is already going viral for a new shortfilm coming this November titled Edge Of Faith. Inspired by the 2008 first person action adventure video game, Mirror’s Edge, Neis‘s shortfilm is based on an old screenplay he wrote titled “Lover’s Leap: A Parkour Love Story”. But instead, Neis wanted to crank it up a notch and chose to make a dual-purpose shortfilm that would further manifest his love for gaming, indie action and film culture, as well as showcase the eclectic talents, ANP Stunts, a multi-faceted drama, movement and screenfighting film team he founded with his brother, Peter Neis. Filmed in select areas of downtown Los Angeles as his backdrop, Neis and his team sought to replicate the same atmosphere and style in order to create a fan film that pays homage to Mirror’s Edge. […]
