OVERLOOK V Announces Amirpour’s MONA LISA AND THE BLOOD MOON As Opener + Second Wave For The June Film Festival

It’s been about a week since the fifth Overlook Film Festival announced its first wave with Scott Derrickson’s upcoming Universal/Blumhouse June thriller, The Black Phone, premiering on the festival’s closing night. This week, we have a second wave of titles headlined by the opening night premiere of Ana Lily Amirpour’s Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, which has since been acquired by Saban for theatrical release in the U.S. later this year as of trade reports a few months ago.
