BRAHMASTRA PART ONE: SHIVA Heats Up For September Release In North America
The campaign has already been running quite high for writer/director Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming fantasy thriller, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The film has several posters and motion images touting its upcoming multilingual Indian premiere this September 9 since late last year, and word now via buzz over at CinemaCon notes that Disney will share a stake on the same date for its release in the U.S. and Canada. Billed as India’s first original cinematic universe with a trilogy currently in the planning stages, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, and is produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
