NIGHT WOLF: Kevin Hart To Star And Produce New Twist On Superhero Genre
STX Entertainment’s STXfilms is continuing its partnership with actor Kevin Hart’s HartBeat Productions for high-concept superhero comedy, Night Wolf. Detective Pikachu screenwriters Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit pitched it to the studio and are developing a new twist on the superhero genre with Hart attached to star. Night Wolf follows a Meet the Parents-esque encounter where a man (Hart) meets his future father-in-law for the first time only to discover he is secretly the superhero known as the Night Wolf. Hart previously starred in The Upside, the $100 million grossing hit which STX distributed earlier this year.
