We’ve already entered one more chapter of the Donnie Yen cinematic universe for the concluding biopictoral trilogy based on the life and legend of Wing Chun Grandmaster Ip Man. It’s a name that has otherwise proven integral in the implementation of martial arts in cinema, and as a brand with popularity in other mediums, including television, and it’s one that fans take great pride in. Several filmmakers are to thank for this, including Herman Yau, who once directed actor Dennis To for the small screen spin-off opposite legendary veterans like Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung and Louis Fan.
