HEROINE: Winston Duke To Wear Metal Armor And Beat Up Aryan Scum In Paramount Players Actioner

Dan Casey (Secrets Of Fenville, The Death Of Michael Smith) is poised to make his next directorial move on action thriller, Heroine. Monday’s report at THR lists actor Winston Duke (Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War) will star in the film now currently set to shoot in the Spring. According to the report, Heroine foresees the story of a mother, a domestic abuse survivor who finds herself in danger when she witness an Aryan gang kidapping only after just moving into her new neighborhood. The aforementioned actor who memorably played M’Baku in the current MCU will tackle the role of her neighbor, a man who has crafted his own metal suit for the purpose of fighting crime and now has his sights set on the Aryans. In a move that surprises probably no one, a major Hollywood studio is officially on the verge of another remake of a cinematic class. Enter 48 Hrs, directed by Walter Hill and released in 1982 as an inaugural entry into the era of buddy cop movies of its time starring Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte. The film was an action comedy hit that centered on a reluctant partnership between a San Francisco detective in search of two cop killers, and his only lead: a former criminal associate doing time following a botched heist of half-a-million dollars from a drug dealer stashed in his own car.
