Ready or not, filmmaker Lee Jeong-beom is coming back with a vengeance for his return at the helm, The Bad Lieutenant. It’s been five years since directing No Tears For The Dead but the celebrated helmer of The Man From Nowhere seems ready to turn the page somewhat thematically in his creative stride. Enter Lee Sun-kyun, whose recent credits partly include A Hard Day and Ha Jung-woo thriller, Take Point. Starring in the title role, Lee plays Jo Pil-ho, a dirty, corrupt police lieutenant who suddenly becomes the prime suspect in a devastating explosion, enveloping him in a conspiracy involving a multinational conglomerate.
